I don't get it, If UV light is the major weakness of them then it would be easy to take care of them and get rid of them from the city.

Just gather large emough grough with best tools and Lots of UV lights and flares and then eradicate them, You can even destroy the Volatile nest with enough UV and Flares.

And unlike the game logic Zombies will not spawn, So iy is very likely to emd as soon as it started.

And seeimg how sensetive to those zombies are to UV, It is safe to say most of the zombies would be taken care by the SUN and rest would be hnadled by army.

I'd say that if there are secure and sustainable enough settlements then the virus would eventually die out because there is no more living tissue for it to infect and mutate, and the living people that can be infected are safe inside their settlements with no reason to come out😁 Either that or the inhibited and genetically unsusceptible will make children that are immune to the virus effectively removing contagion from the gene pool.

If you can't survive Dying Light 1's virus, You ain't surviving Dying light 2's virus.

If i was in this universe i would simply train hard like in anime and become so powerful i become the alpha of the zombies and control them. I would breed with a zombie to make offspring with zombie powerful but my cognitive abilities. I could then slowly take over the world with my superior bloodline and basically become hokage of the entire universe.

DL2 is obviously harder at night than DL1s nights since of the immunity timer that starts if ur not in UV light + volatiles are on steroids now so that sucks

The main reason you wouldn't survive is because the game is based around the idea that parkour is a necessary survival mechanic, and yet the amount of people alive who can do the type of parkour you do in the game is around 1% of the population. And that's only referring to the realistic stuff you do.

Honestly I like the plot of this game a lot less than the first one, the situation is already hopeless so it feels like there is no reason to be doing anything you're doing.

I just purchased a few days ago. I'm having a blast with this game. I purchased without even knowing there was a nighttime update 'darker nights' . It feels like I'm playing the first game with that new update for nighttime but with better parkour and graphics. I did try playing with the other filter modes, and it definitely did not feel like a Dying Light game.

On another note, once you get a bow/crossbow, going into dark zones during the day is the most fun you'll have in dying light 2 since the night is a joke.
Actual threats, but still manageable. + Good loot from volatile corpses.
