They wouldn’t go in there with a few officers under dressed when someone is known to be armed and had warrants on possession charges so it wouldn’t be far fetched to say they could be high and could make bad choices. I personally would not do this any differently if I were in their shoes.

Here's the thing with drug dealers or even users on that point, when they have product nearby, they have to protect them. Hence most are armed along with several affiliates that can do surveillance nearby to alert them of police presence. Due to these measures, Dallas SWAT needed the element of surprise, that's what they used and the take down was successful. If you think the house's damage was tough for the landlord, keep in mind of the landlord should've known since odour of drugs is strong and second having hope in a house, as Eazy-E used to say is already being disrespectful to a house.

Well done Dallas police for getting the suspects with minimal damage as possible to human lives.
