This video explains a lot about why I freaking hate this game. It's not something you sit down and learn for a couple hours then feel ready beat the game. It takes months, maybe years, to master five stages.

We tried to do this game on PS2 but even half of lightening were impossible to do. After few months, we said no to Sony and yes to Nintendo.

it would’ve been cool if there was more story content in this game. looking at the art of this game and reading its prologue and lore guides online just puts me at a sense of wonder. i wish this game was more known online

This game is SO hard... h-how are they doing this? I'm awestruck. This was one of the few games I beat the second boss and then just put the controller down. Just getting there made me almost put the GameCube through the wall!

I remember watching my friend try to get past the 2nd boss in this game when it came out 20 years ago. I sat there for a whole evening watching him relentlessly run the first two levels, he couldn’t do it. It’s just that kind of game.

Stage 3 is totally where the game goes in all out "gimmie all your credits" mode. I don't know he did not die once.

When I'm going through some faiure or disappointment in life I like to come back to this video. If you fail a million times, it may be meaningful but not in a negative sense. You take took every necessary step to towards mastery, and that's what ends up mattering.

Plus the game music gets me pumped every time
