ОтветитьMany things could have been what triggered the involuntary psychosis. The PTSD diagnosis happened very shortly after my mother's death from ovarian cancer. The bipolar diagnosis happened after a rather unusual amount of bullying my senior year of preparatory school on the part of my sister, her friends at home and my classmates. To be fair, my classmates were more guilty of ignoring me rather than bullying me. My sister and I had a love-hate relationship. Her death at the age of 22 came as no surprise to me. Her official cause of death is documented as a myocardial infarction. The story is that she not only needle shared, but shot up her boyfriend's blood directly into her bloodstream. However, the autopsy report states that the only drug found in her system was a small amount of Oxycontin.
Sis got pregnant at 16 by a guy that was roughly 22. It was hard on all of us when her 3 year old daughter got taken by CPS. A year or so later she got pregnant again. During that pregnancy she regularly used. Her son shows little to no severe damage from it, which in itself is a miracle.
I suppose you could say it all just added up over time. My sister's death was the catalyst to my temporary frequent flyer admissions to different psychiatric units. Up to and including the state facility. I got so used to their routine that they had no choice but to throw me in jail for a year after I used violence against my dad for taking off with my money and putting me in the face of danger more times than I could handle. I got released and soon acquired my first apartment. It was great until it wasn't. Drugs had a little to do with it. Maybe even a lot to do with it. I quit my job and could no longer afford the mice infested unit. I became homeless as a result. Before it was cool in this city. Not long after, I tried meth. It's kind of a mediocre drug for me. I can take it or leave it. Through thick and thin, following many people's attempts to keep me bound to the elements in a city with all fours seasons I now live in a much better apartment that I can mostly afford. I don't do drugs very often anymore.
Now I'm happy just to be home and grateful that if even just in the present or the very near future, I can be comfortable. The switches are what holds me together, oddly enough. I can't say I know how it became that way. Maybe I even forgot. Safe to say though it was abuse, drugs, mental illness, and bereavement that got me where I am today. For better or for worse.
Amazing mix! Felt really stressed when I got into work and couldn't stop thinking about personal issues, but this has chilled me out and now I'm working more productively!

And concentrate on whatever you're doing, if you're studing focus, if you're tryna sleep close your eyes and listen to the music and if you're trying to relax close your eyes, clear your mind and listen to the music. Stop scrollin!

• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
