Red Bull has been pulling stunts for years with absolutely no oversight... These daredevils have been getting huge payouts to perform anything they dare with impunity from law it seems... It was only a matter of time before a serious accident happened...

You just can't pay for that kind of publicity. One has to wonder if the cost of the FAA fines plus destroyed plane ($300k? +/-) is likely cheaper than a SuperBowl ad.

Pilots must always be held to a high standard. He gets what he deserves.

What could go wrong?
Overspeed. Overstress.
Collision.
Spin.
Insufficient altitude to recover.
Wind change.
The list goes on and on.

The 2nd pilot for each plane is an absolute must.

Part 91 more or less says you can do whatever you want as long as you deem it to be safe.
