Terraria 1.4 No-hit - Polarities - Convective Wanderer

It's a sad day knowing that this is 1.4 and no one noticed Shadow was back, Poor Shadow do you hate her that much?

This is probably the best worm boss in modded terraria, It uses the entire worm mixed with some creative ranged attacks to take full advantage of the fact that the worm has a long body capable of many things

Honestly the dude who made this mod has a real good understanding of what makes a good boss, other mod makers and even some game makers could learn from ‘em lol

The music fits pretty well as the wander is a boss u fight in hell and morpho knight's fight in forgotten land shows him using loads of flame infused attacks to take down kirby

Okay I have to admit, this is the COOLEST boss I've ever seen in the history of modded Terraria.

truly a beautiful boss fight, the thing about a worm boss in the underworld that's 3D surprises me.
oh well, it's turing anyways, he's awesome as hell.

Even apart from the aesthetics, this is such a well designed worm boss. It has weight to it and pretty much every one of its attacks work better because of its shape. So many worm bosses are just bosses that happen to have a worm hitbox, but this one really nails the concept.

The only thing that I find weird is that this boss(which is epic to be fair) is stronger than the namesake of the mod, the polarities.

i like the end part where convection comes around to cata and just gestures his/hers/its head to him and kills him in the process.

Said this on another creator's vid on this but I must say it again, I am both shocked and impressed.
Definitely the best worm boss so far gameplay and technical wise, could even rival Subspace Serpent. Intended or not this boss gave me a lot of SGA vibes, with its body to its drill head. Polarities continues to shine with this update

I thought a worm with a giant drill was a pretty cool design. But a peak? (mouth? jaw?) in the form of a drill that, when opened, shows a prism? (real mouth?) where laser beams are launched is on another level.

Turing really knows how to make 3d illusions, the sprite seems to be changing so many times per second that it gives it the illusion of being 3d, but that’s just my theory of how it works.

Edit: I just commented on his video asking how he did it, but I have seen someone say it’s a scrolling spreadsheet, whatever the hell that is 😅.
