What a GREAT interviewee … Peter Benson is such a good person to interview!!! He’s open, well focused in his stories, knows what to release and what not to, but still able to “let us in” to the behind stuff we want to know, I’m totally impressed.
I’m SO glad they talked about the bedroom stuff, which we NEVER get to see. It’s very vulnerable for Hallmark, but still totally clean. I really love to hear how the clap was added on set, I enjoy those tidbits so much!!
Lots of prepared questions this time that lead down some really good paths…. Nice. He filled in so much, even about all the actors!! I lOVED hearing about the site preparation, the house, the shots, the view from the director. Really insightful, especially with the experience he brought. 👍
I would want to watch his directors view for EVERY movie he does, what good content he gives - from the comparisons to TV series vs a movie, to relating Paul Campbell to “Ryan Reynolds funny”, to wrangling Kevin until they say GO, “Jim Carrey in an underwear model’s body” (LOL), giving the crew credit for filling the room, camera work/budget, the weather, talking about how Lacey brought the Veil story to life in her passion for it (which is so true, it could have been a nothing burger, but the veil became a character!!) bringing in his own life & experience…. Fantastic.
