ОтветитьThank god i discover this channel. Now my i.t life makes sense 😂 great channel please continue!!!! 🎉
Ответитьso how do i find the ip address of a host?
ОтветитьThe ping tool also have that response time reading in ms. That is helpful in determining if there are latency between you and the service you're trying to use. It can also be used in finding out whether the latency problem is internal to your LAN or external on the Internet (useful before you're calling your ISP). To determine, ping your destination on the Internet. See if the latency is above what you're expecting. If it is, then also ping your default gateway. See if the response time there is above what is normal. If the default gateway ping looks normal then the problem is external (or someone is using the connection to its capacity). If your default gateway ping is awful, then you know the problem is internal.

Ответитьhi, thank you for the explanation! :) I have a scenario for which I need your suggestion please - There is a printer connected to Windows 11 PC( 2PC's)... And one of the PC's dont print to the printer... when I do a PING of the printer (example : 10.0.0.1) from the non-working Windows 11 PC(with IP 10.0.0.2), I get a request timed out twice, reply from 10.0.0.2(PC IP), destination host unreachable and request timed out as the 4th reply.... never seen a PING responding back with a PC IP when you connect to a printer... what could the problem be?
