having a mosfet doesn't keep the contacts from tarnishing but the type of switch does the mosfet helps with voltage drop and it helps the switch from wearing out/ frying

Beautiful mods. The stab wood is strikingly handsome. I really luv the feel of delrin mods though. Be nice to be able to combine the best qualities of each. I'd also like to see a vid or two about selecting a block of stab wood.

If this was a protected device i would buy one.. I don't like to rely on battery safety alone as even e juice causes issues in regulated mods and recently the alien baby screen screwed up on my gf due to over dripping and e liquid got down 510 pin, inside battery housing etc mess..

switches are available in brushed, blasted and polished as well as black, finishes on the freehand matt, polished and natural. natural wood is also available as well as pom and stabwood. the natural wood is slightly cheaper too.

Military POM, is used for rifle stocks/Butts, Iam lead to believe, Scott 👍🏽

Hi Scott, nice review fella. Those are real nice devices, the only thing that spoils the looks slightly is the upper slant at the top of the squonk hole. Just a heads up, POM (Polyoxymethylene) comes along with many trade names, one that most vapers will know is "Delrin"! Although its natural color is opaque white, it is available in some solid colours such as black. As far as mosfet's are concerned, the best way to think of them is as acting as solid state relay when used in this type of applications. By using a mosfet to switch a high amperage throughput it enables very light duty switches and wires to be used to activate the mosfet without frying the switch.

You dark horse Scott, all the best with TurnwoodFX, I have wanted to get into that field myself for a while now. Tell me, do you vac the wood and the pressure the resin or do you just vac both stages of the process?

The Gloom is actually slightly smaller

Not sure about the stabwood but the gloom now comes with a black silicon cappy v4 bottle, you can now easily see the juice level in these
