ОтветитьJust a question for you: How can we blow air in a slow and regular flow underwater? It doesn't work for me
ОтветитьTh
ОтветитьWhen you breathe out in the water, are you breathing out only through your nose? I remember in school we were taught to keep our mouth open and breathe out in the water. Though this was a good 30 years ago now, so times have probably changed
ОтветитьWhy is bilateral breathing better? I've just started to feel comfortable doing full laps without running out of air, but I breath only through the right every 4th stroke
Ответитьshld you breath our thru nose or mouth
ОтветитьWater gets into my ear and nose
ОтветитьGood video. Thank you.
ОтветитьI started swimming regularly two weeks ago. It wasn’t a problem when I was a kid, but now, it’s so uncomfortable breathing while swimming. This morning, I ended up drinking pool water because I didn’t close my mouth in time. So frustrating.
ОтветитьI'm still learning how to do freestyle & i gotta say, this is the most helpful video because when i hold my breathe after exhaling in the water, I started to sink can't rotate my body cos it became tense. Need to exhale slowly until ur next breathe in so ur body relax & rotation become easy. Idk why other videos didn't emphasize this part
ОтветитьGreat video! I've been struggling with the breathing but this will help me a lot! Thanks!!!
ОтветитьWould be nice if we could breath out of our ass, would get additional jet power
ОтветитьLike the look of that kickboard drill to practise bi-lateral breathing! Will definitely be giving that a go
ОтветитьWait a second, I didn't realise that in swimming they were rotating so much, I thought I needed to to tilt the head not the entire body. Well, gonna take some getting used to again I suppose.
ОтветитьVery informative and precise, thanks.
ОтветитьBreath out from nose or mouth better?
ОтветитьYou forget to state IF exhale thru the nose
ОтветитьI gave up trying to swim freestyle because I kept choking getting water down my throat. It’s extremely difficult. I think I would have an easier time juggling while snowboarding.
ОтветитьJust bought a swim membership today after a lot of years away from the water, great information for helping me remember everything I once new
ОтветитьToday for the first time after trying for 7-8 summers , I was able to do 3 laps breath wide 25 meters while breathing .. amazing experience the thing that I learnt with the video is I was raising I head too much to breathe sinking my legs in , with this video i first brought my body in momentum in last stroke before breathing , and then side ways titling my head was able to inhale , I think I am able to do left side on every 4 stroke .. but great experience I wish it am able to do it every time 🙂 Thank you keep making amazing videos for dumb learners like me
ОтветитьVery helpful thank you! Hadn’t thought of exhaling from nose too! I have an idiotic fear that exhaling too hard will make my goggles come off from the bubbles hahaha! Must be from childhood or maybe being asthmatic but I deffo panic a little. I was holding my breath trying to swim and breath every 3-5 strokes and gave myself eustacian tube dysfunction 😩😩 going to practice this when I’m better 🎉
ОтветитьThis is a really good technique, I will practice it and update it here again. Thank you so much
ОтветитьWooow! I must go back to swimming. Thx for sharing knowledge
ОтветитьThese videos are an absolute game changer thank you! Got into swimming again recently.. Breastroke I am pretty strong but front crawl I've found is alot harder than I remembered! These breathing techniques will definitely help me... Practicing tmoro! Thanks all keep it up!
ОтветитьIm sorry? How exactly am i suppose to breath in during those 3 nanoseconds and not pull in water and waterboard myself?!
ОтветитьI swim in the pool, but 1 my swim slows down and I even sink, 2, I feel like I'm not getting enough air in to last. This causes me to not being able to swim distances without changing style or stop for breathing. Can anyone help?
ОтветитьWhy would we listen to you? It's not like you got out of the water first in the Nordic Triathlon... haha oh wait you did! Beast. Great video! Got my butt kicked in a cold open water swim two weeks ago and am increasing my swim training significantly. I'll be watching a lot more of your content, Mark!
Ответить😰😅
ОтветитьI just end up swallowing a tonne of water, no matter what I do I get a mouth full of water and just choke and have to stop 😂
ОтветитьAm confused, my trainer say to start exhaling before starting inhale and not throughout. I tried both and ended up drinking water. What is best way out of two?
ОтветитьI was out of breath watching this
ОтветитьIs it normal to get water in your mouth when you take a breath?
ОтветитьThus is so helpful.
ОтветитьJESUS CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS
ОтветитьVery useful, Thank you. I swim in the sea so I have the additional complication of waves getting in my face, but this has given me some good tips to try. 👍
Ответитьfor any Key and Peele fans out there - "STROKE - STROKE - BREEEEEEATHE!!! STROKE - STROKE - BREEEEEEATHE!!!" :o)
Ответитьyeah i can only exhale from my nose underwater for a few seconds. not sure why? maybe small lungs… :( trying to get it up to 10 seconds or at LEAST 5 lol. thanks for the tips
ОтветитьI can breath on my dominant hand but i cant on my left hand, why is that?
Ответитьwtf is this music
ОтветитьGreat ! please subscribe me too
ОтветитьBrilliant video. Now about to go for a swim to try this out!
ОтветитьSo complacated
Ответитьhelpful, thanks
ОтветитьYour breaths are sooo quick. I can't get enough air in that quickly I just end up holding my breath or having to slow down
ОтветитьWhy does your swimmer has moustache under his arm?))))
Ответитьthanks dude..currently practicing my daughter for triathlon...hopefully she can participates this summer...
ОтветитьIsn't it BETTER to always INHALE by turning to the LEFT because your AIRWAY then is on TOP of your esophagus?
ОтветитьOur swimming coach said that breathing out should almost be like humming.
ОтветитьIs it really necessary to exhale through the nose, I just started classes and the first thing my coach told me was that it doesn’t matter, he says exhale through the nose or mouth, whichever is more comfortable. There’s so much inconsistent advice out there, makes it difficult
