Albania is a pretty bad place for lgbtq+ people. I lived there and EVERYONE I met was homophobic. If you are a part of the community you will have a high chance of being bullied badly and hated. Thats why as a lesbian woman, i left to go to a better place.

It isn’t just Nigeria. Add Ghana to the list and all of Africa. I have been there many times and while the people are superficially polite and see all Americans as a possible sources of income, they are more interest in getting something out of you than your LGBT status as long as you aren’t too obvious about it.. I used to like Africa but the ignorance, poverty and sense that I am nothing more than meal ticket just wear me out. If you are Black you might think by going to Africa you are connecting with “the motherland” but you really have nothing in common. Use extreme caution when traveling in Africa. Realize that most LGBTQ Africans would do anything to get out. They will try and use you to that end and will do almost anything to disingenuously manipulate you to help them leave .

All muslim majority countries and most African countries are anti-gay based on the religion and others on their bad blood.

Please don’t refer to homophobia and transphobia as “conservative”. The advent of Abrahamic monotheistic religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam, gave rise to anti gay laws. Sharia laws, Talmic Law and Christian laws are all cut from the same cloth. The truly ancient cultures like Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Mesopotamian, even the Native American cultures were accepting of Twin spirited or LGBTQ people. Anti LGBTQ individuals aren’t conservative, they are religious bigots!

I consider this video is completely ridiculous and focues more - in my view - to how a flaming Queen would feel looking for gay bars and a pride parade - than actually meeting the people. A queen who speaks English and only know the New York "scene". If you are discreet and use common sense you can have a great time in any of these so-called "hostile" countries. But if your definition of "welcoming" is getting drunk in a Los Angeles Bar dressed as Drag Queen then maybe you'd better stay in your country.

This is wrong information. SRI LANKA is not dangerous to visit as a LGBT traveler. Yes LGBT is illegel in our low sytem bcz it made in 1977. Now a days LGBT community enjoy more freedom in Sri Lanka. Please visit my beautiful
