well I mean if we didn't have the AEM-7, we wouldn't have the iconic ACS-64.
And without the X2000 and ICE sets, we wouldn't have the acela/avelia we have today.

So we basically are living the future stated in the title but still no matter what this was edited together perfectly

So sad the Eschede disaster had to happen otherwise we might have seen ICE trains in the usa

Where did you get the footage of the AEM-7 and ALP-44? I didn't see them in any of your linked clips.

amtrak is kinda ok, its good if u dont have a car and need to get from point A to B, the route from Seattle to Eugene is pretty scenic which is nice I guess

In the city I used to live, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, there is simply no railroad train transportation system for civilian use. The city is completely car centric. There is a railroad for commercial use only, to bring natural gas for the city to use. The first time I had the privilege of using a train, was when I visited San Diego, California, which is just crossing the border; The San Diego Trolley transportation system. It was magical, it was as if was in the future.

the future sucked. Is what they were trying to tell us with the music.

All these test trains are cool and all, but the Acela we got is pretty cool in its own right, and all of these trains have parts of their design in the Acela.

i think that amtrak should have baught the X2000 baecause the us would get some high speed rail and sweden would have sould trains to more countrys then china (and SJ would get money)
