"How to make the metaverse a safe space?" This is the question that Stella Jacob started from during her research work in Game Design. With a speculative and critical approach, she studies the moderation tools of current online spaces and unravels the myth of an apolitical virtual world.

Based in Paris, Stella Jacob is a multi-media artist evolving between research, theory and practice. She studied art history and cinema before working 5 years in the field of virtual reality. Afterwards, she deepened her approach by studying interactive design at Gobelins / CNAM-ENJMIN.

She regularly intervenes as an expert on the issue of moderation of virtual worlds (Les Echos, Sciences Po, Virtuality). She also develops her game projects ('Where Do Dead Malls Go?' ) and hybrid creations ('Fanthomes' - Spektrum Esch 2022 residency) and accompanies the conception of interactive productions.
