Choosing Comfort | Boots & Booties

I am such a shoe-aholic!!! I bought a pr of Merrell booties this yrs black Friday. Nice small heal height, good support. I try not to wear them for extended periods, because I live in my sneakers, but great for a little dressier casual.

What do you recommend for women with wide feet? I have also had fractured toes, metatarsals and stress fractures in the past and pretty much live in sneakers - don't have much in the way of dressier shoes.
