3 all rounders nurtured under Dhoni/CSK tutorship - Jaddu, Shardul, Deepak. One this is for sure, these people are fearless and know how to maximize their limited talents.

I say Shardul Thakur should bat at 7 and Deepak Chahar should bat at 8 simply because Deepak Chahar needs to be fit to bowl a full 10 Evers whereas we only we need shardul’s bowling to take crucial wickets in the middle overs by breaking key partnerships. Deepak should be used heavily in the powerplay and in the death since he can pick up wickets easily in those two phases. Under Rohit’s captaincy and Shikhar’s captaincy he has done well with bowling in the death overs.

We are clearly missing out players like Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Harshal etc., They play so much intent. Come on. Where is the people element being considered in the team? With Dravid being the coach, I'm really hoping a change in approach in team selection going forward.

Haven't we seen something like this before. India doesnt take care of players like this. Irfan Pathan, Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya - how many of these guys have promised so much and then suddenly the role, the ability and maturity didn't cut it in the big leagues.

Why do we need so many cameos from lower middle order? Once in a while is fine and may be it's happened with Rohit for very few times, but why are we not able to get a good #4 & #5 for a while now? Shreyas is still a solid guy but most of his good batting may have happened in India type of conditions and Pant is hanging by a thread now.

For Venkatesh Iyer, the whole selection of this guy is out of the box. He hasn't even played much for India and now suddenly you push him in the deep end in ODIs. From top order batter to somewhere in the lower middle order, what is this Indian team management thinking?

If Hardik starts bowling then we will have lot of options in All-rounders
Hardik , Jaddu , Shradul , Deepak ... IMO 3 of 4 can play easily all the time and also it leaves option for 3 more genuine bowlers ... Exciting times ahead I feel Rohit and Rahul combo will sort this out

Bring Washington Sundar into the 11 he will add more balance into the side at 7 if Jadeja bats at 6 then you can play chahar/Thakur with Bumrah and Shami and a spinner or pacer extra as well depending upon pitch conditions and all and if hardik is fit you can explore more options as well
