I think COS was only successful because the people that believe or believed in it were the best of human race. They are people who really want to do good for the world and others. i think janis was saying they were moving anyway, but the way i hear the hartwell video, he had to flee in a hurry as the hartwells had outed his location. that story is hilarious/outrageous. hartwell was telling the guardian's office that he had been working for hubbard. they didn't believe him because i don't think they knew he was there. hartwell (a wog) finally convinced the guy when he told him the story that he was being ordered to build something without any materials. hartwell tells the GO that some kid just said "make it go right" and they knew he was telling the truth, lol.
