How dare i misquote the great Henri Cartier-Bresson yes, it’s 10,000 photos not 1,000, but you get the idea.
ОтветитьI'm a fine artist (drawing and painting), and it's commonly said that learning to draw is really just learning to see. Our brains create shortcuts/symbols for everyday things and the average person doesn't notice the interaction between these things. If anybody wants to get a crash course in composition and learning to see, I'd encourage you to take a life drawing class. You don't have to be "good" for it to be valuable.
ОтветитьGreat advice for the beginner and inspirational, thx for sharing 🙏
Ответить🫵 Cute photographer!
Ответитьyou are soooooooo RIGHT
ОтветитьJust ordered a Pentax ME Super to get my Film Photography journey. Gunna head down to San Diego for the day and ride around on my Onewheel taking pictures. Just sounds like such a peaceful and mental health benefiting hobby. Super hyped
ОтветитьJust getting back into film after a long hiatus (I used it less and less after 2004 and quit altogether after 2012). Street photography is keeping me busy creating while I set up a home studio (got to move and purchase a lot of stuff to make it happen). I want to start doing more studio work though. Getting more experimental.
ОтветитьDude coming across your channel is one of the best things that’s happened to me in the world of photography lately. You have such a simple approach to how you explain things and you’re very good at taking what most people look at as the negative reasons they are scared try things out and put them in a positive perspective. Thank you for what you do man.
ОтветитьThanks man, I’ve been practicing photography for about 6 months and needed to hear this
ОтветитьThat was a lovely essay!
ОтветитьI agree.
ОтветитьI had just went out an made a Street Photography POV Video, Uploading tomorrow. Thanks for this. It made my day better.
ОтветитьThis is an awesome video, thank you. I love the way you characterise street photography as a way of learning to be a better observer.
ОтветитьYea. Street Photography can be anything. And something that can be anything is nothing.
Doesn’t matter if he said 1,000 or 10,000. He was shooting film. Go out and take 10,000 photos with a film camera and let me know how long it takes you. The quote is sort of meaningless now.
The so called “Street Photography” is filled with cliches that really mean nothing. From styles to quoting people who never declared themselves street photographers. Because there’s no such thing.
Yo man, just discovered u yesterday, actually also planning to start my photography journey and gonna start here in street photography. Thanks a lot man
ОтветитьOne of your videos popped up to me as a yt recommendation and i must say that, if i was already willing to go out and take some street shots, your chanel boosted this will of mine, and then i did! And im also planning to do it again and again. Street Photography is one of the areas that i like the most and by doing it i realized that's even better than i ever imagined. Thank you, my man; keep doing your inspiring work. Best regards from Brazil 🇧🇷
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьHi, did you shoot the intro with the x100v ??? thanks
ОтветитьMuzak. I'll pass.
ОтветитьThe first lesson you teach learners how to fail, that is VERY discouraging. You should start with a series of lessons e.g. 1. learn how to observe, 2, shooting techniques, 3, camera techniques etc..10.Psychology of photography that is when you tell learners why you fail..etc
Ответитьhi Faizal ask to fujifilm to get to go to Indonesia bro
