One of the best videos you’ll made. I love it
ОтветитьGreat video, very helpful
ОтветитьAbsurd......
ОтветитьTerima kasih banyak. Anda telah mengizinkan video anda bisa di terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia, from Indonesian love you so much❤
ОтветитьDeseaba que Argentina ganará el Mundial de Fútbol, se dió, nada dependía de mi, los mismos jugadores no tenían el control total del partido. Es increíble pero así es!
ОтветитьEpictetus's message in this video resonates with the message in the Indian religious scripture Bhagwat Geeta.According to Bhagwat Geeta ' Action is in our hand but the results are not. Results depend on myriad factors outside our control. If we truly understand this fact, we will work hard but wouldn't be affected by the results not as per our wish.We will start again.
ОтветитьInsightful video! Congrats to you, your work is always valuable and precious. Keep being yourself🧘🏻
ОтветитьYou have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction. BHAGVAD GEETA - 2.47
ОтветитьI am grateful for you abby
ОтветитьIs this not mere word play? If we want to lose, then when we lose we have won??
Ответить❤
ОтветитьWINNING IS NOT EVERYTHING, ...ITS THE ONLY THING..HOW YOU REACT TO IT REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME IS IRRELEVANT...
ОтветитьAccepting defeat is NOT WINNING....ITS SELF DECEPTION!
ОтветитьIf your goal is to fail, then you’re not going to do your best. Self-fulfilling prophecy.
So, it’s not quite that simple. It’s a complicated mind game that most-self-absorbed, can’t-be-bothered-to-think-for-one’s-self, easily “triggered” hyper-sensitive people just don’t possess the brain power to play.
Great video!
ОтветитьI want to fail and I'm very successful
Ответитьput it in plain words it's like always thinking for the worst scenarios.and then when it was as bad as you thought ..you guess right.and if it's better than you thought,it's a surprise😂
ОтветитьI have tried this and as awesome as it is, it hurts never getting the win. I instead chose to control the game such that I can only win or I'm not playing. I would rather scope down my attempt to get a winning result. I get enough problem solving in my work, I don't need uncertainty in the rest of me life.
I started controlling what I do in life and have found so much contentment where I before felt anxiety and mentally fatigued. I know that I wont be the best football-player so why even bother when I could work on something that I'm good at that I know brings me joy. Life is short, do what you want to do.
truth is something which is constant.. it is upto the people to believe or not... whatever they do truth is the truth
Ответитьthis is very beautiful... but we have think of any doubt that comes in our mind and put it out , think carefully and it will show you absolutely different scenario
Ответитьall i have learned is that there is no bigger illusion than fear.
Ответитьu r right. thank you.. since losing doesnt cause us harm, there is nothing wrong with wishing for it. it only subdues the fear completely. thank you
ОтветитьI don't see it as wanting to lose, but rather welcoming events as they happen, they're two different things in my opinion. I think the key to always winning is to change your views of winning and losing to something that is entirely in your Control, for example: for me winning isn't being in first place on a competition full of people, but rather participating and giving it my best; and losing isn't being in last place, but rather, not taking part on a competition i really wanted to be in, and it depended entirely to me.
I don't see it as wanting to lose, i see it as fully embracing events as they happen, even if it means being in last place, but that doesn't mean I have to enter something wanting to lose.
My view, really enjoy your videos, been watching for Over 2 years now, it really helped my personal growth. Keep up the good work
this is full of crap but this crap is a process of improvement
Ответить"One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood." - Seneca
ОтветитьClearing the path for what's ahead...the best revenge is to be unlike him, who performed the injustices. Be your best self not for spite but because I deserve the better life that I have EARNED.
ОтветитьIt never ceases to amaze me how similar Stoicism and Taoist philosophy is.
ОтветитьKarm kro, fal ki chinta mt kro. - Shri Krishna, in Shreemad Bhagvat gita. What it means - One should not think or worry about winning, but only focus on giving your absolute best on the process to win. The result will automatically come, but even if you've lost dont worry. Because you’ve given your best and that is enough.
ОтветитьAncient Indian Scripture ( 5K BC OLD ) , Somebody said - " You have a right to perfume your duty , you Don't have right to desire the results, never get attached to illusion ( Profit or loss ) ~ perfome your duty equiposed "
Ответитьoohhh the philiosophy of aiming/ welcoming losing goes exactly opposite of the manifestation mindset.
ОтветитьSo, if the outcome (win or lose) doesn't affect you then why would you give your best in the process in other words what's the point of involving oneself in it?
ОтветитьInspirational video! Epictetus' insights on winning in any situation are truly transformative. Thank you for sharing this Stoic wisdom!
ОтветитьAfter reading Cicero I found something interesting. It doesn’t matter if we win or lose but what matters is our intention. This suggests something other than expecting to lose but rather that actions performed in virtue are worthwhile no matter the outcome.
ОтветитьThanks man this video changed my way of life and thinking 😊😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьThis is my next brain build for the next time I run through life
ОтветитьAfter realizing that there is nothing out there, thus you were birth from nothing — so nothing should be expected. How can one not win with a mindset like this? You have won already.
ОтветитьThomas Edison is a good example, he failed many times.
ОтветитьWe see this in Cristiano Ronaldo, he is highly driven by his ego, when he wins, he is the happiest guy alive, when he loses he cries.
he is constantly comparing himself with others like Messi. and his selfesteem is highly affected by what the crowd chants, they know that chaning "Messi" pisses his ego off, and makes him boil.
Cristiano Ronaldo's art of winning is conditional because the ego doesnt accept failure.
I wish that he sees the light, so he can live in peace of mind.
Desiring to lose just seems like another roundabout way of wanting to succeed even by not succeeding. Give it your all of your focus and then just dont care!

ОтветитьI like the overall approach of the Stoics, but some of it veers off into pure bullshit. Trying to reframe everything into a "win" is a bit much, that needs to be calibrated carefully.
Ответитьit's like george in that episode of seinfeld "the opposite"
ОтветитьPeak Wisdom !
ОтветитьDavis William Lee Paul Jones Steven
ОтветитьCould someone tell me what music he used in the video in the beginning.
ОтветитьSo I been winning my entire life without realizing it
