I knew I was "in trouble with this song" when his opening vocal reminded me of the theme from Raising Arizona.

RE "My style of music".... nothing is more metal than the emotions of one person, played out on a single instrument.
Their heart in your ears.
Their mind, speaking to yours.

This song is medicine.
And like all medicines, it may have unavoidable side effects.
But it's positives are so incredibly powerful.
May we all find a way to sing out our demons... Actually, that too is a very metal thing to do.

Like you i'm a metalhead, but this piece of art was just out of this world.
I would argue that it doesn't really matter how this translate to stage because the implicit message it carries through this video is far superior and important than any live performance.
Some music and some art is just meant to be heard and experienced in solitude and this is one of those pieces in my opinion.

I think i can even go as far as to say that this is probably on par with Shakespeare but in modern form.
It is relatable to pretty much every single person in the world.
Regardless of the severity of our struggles we can all relate to the inner struggle he depicts.

Ren contracted Lyme diseases as a Teen. He went to the UK doctors complaining of severe pain in his entire body. They didn't catch the Lyme, and instead diagnosed him with Psychosis (they said it was all in his head). Instead of treating him for the Lyme, they gave him psycho-active/tropic drugs (which can come with horrible side-effects). He is now getting treatment for his Lyme and trying to repair his body (he actually did suffer "brain damage" from the Lyme). Ren has a GoFundMe account to help pay medical bills.....The pig is a butcher, Ren's take on many doctors......the discordant guitar and vocals represent his internal chaos, as do the blinking lights.......

This song is so brilliant 💯 anybody who's struggling with mental health can relate.

I didn't know at first but most of the vids he does are live..this one is. Yu can hear it in the accoustics and see his mic. So one guy,1 room,1 guitar delivers this..absolutely insane. Best talent I've probably ever seen in my 41 years. It's been a long while at least

I love this song and the message behind it. I love how he portrays the two different personalities that exist only in his head but are so clearly separate personalities that even have their own facial expressions. He clearly portrays the concept of schizophrenia and how real and painful it is to the people who live in it. This is great, and I hate rap. Mostly because it was created with the sole purpose of perverting and destroying all humanity

Sadly, there has been a media backlash against Ren's music.......I suspect motivated by defenders of big $$$$$ mental health systems and "Big Pharm", who don't want Ren's 'Truth" of MISdiagnosis and improper treatment to gain popular momentum.....sigh.......

yeah ive watched that video sooooo many times and those goosebumps...... still there every time!!

my connection to this song is only the similarity of struggle,,
i'm undiagnosed autistic and have struggled with being a bit weird my whole life i had to start my own business because i had problems holding a job with sleep disorders and high ethics.. but managed to stay in business the last 40 years without needing to advertise or even carry a card, i run a lawn and tree service and do all phases of construction and kind of an inventor on the side after six years of development i figured out a disaster response product that could help millions worldwide .. then my insurance agent forgot to post a payment back in 2020 and the state took everything i worked the last 40 years for away .. stuck at home like a prisoner i came online and saw people helping others so i started making videos explaining hat i was. trying to do to get help and found out if the platform your uploading to doesn't promote you your just talking to your phone, and then i see stuff like this and get jealous because i will never write a song that gets peoples attn like this. so my chances are fading. and it's scary as hell to think of all that could be, but it may all be lost because one person forgot to hit enter on there keyboard..
