Licenses to carry guns? Uhm no. Owning and possessing a firearm is a constitutional protected right. My state is open carry,I don't need a license to carry a firearm. And I'll never get a license. Heck no. That's an infringement on the 2nd amendment. Because what they'll do is make Licenses so expensive and so hard to get that your average everyday people won't be able to afford it. Thus,leaving working class people even more vulnerable and less protected.

My state requires background checks on all firearm purchases. Private, internet from a gun shop,pawn shop. All purchases require background checks. Even Private sales to a family member. If you transfer a firearm from your possession to another person in my state,you are supposed to do a background check.

I hate the false titles the lying liberal media puts out. Of course Conservatives care if people are shot. During the Antifa and BLM rallies during the summer of 2020, the Republican party was condemning the violence where dozens of people were killed and hundreds were injured. The DNC said nothing. Well, they did say there should be more protests. Most gun violence is done by criminals who STEAL guns. So, you need to work on the criminals, not law abiding citizens and their 2nd amendment rights.

When they say democratic states they mean black folk are committing most of those crimes. Low and behold republican ran states are high in gun violence. There are criminals who go to states with weak gun laws to purchase guns legally there and sell them to criminals in Chicago. Fact!
Now states are making weak gun laws where anyone can own a gun. No background check no permit requirement. Nothing. If you have a crime filled background you can legally buy a gun. Sounds like Oprah when she used to give away stuff. You get a gun! You with a criminal record get a gun. You with a violent past get gun. Err body get a gun. I bet gun companies are seeing huge profits. This country can recite only one so called God given right that is in the constitution. The right to bare arms. Yeah we talk about freedom of speech but that can have consequences in private businesses. Guns that is different. This country is way obsessed with guns.
