Sorry but I drove tractor trailer flatbed over the road for several years and witnessed many bikers flaunt their size and mobility to disregard traffic laws and common sense putting themselves and others in danger. When they learn to drive their motorcycles responsibly I may develop a little sympathy for them.

I don't really care if I ever get to the "Tail of the Dragon". It looks like everyone just wants to speed and get thru it as fast as they can. There are so many other roads I'd much rather enjoy than that stretch of road.

As a rider I know some of the bikers would crash or fall but for me I never fall and whenever I see a biker fall I would brake and see if they are ok….if they say no then ima call a police and a ambulance to come and help them but if they say yes I would help them up and help them….

It's illegal to drive/ride on shoulder. No excuses. Riding on the shoulder is not lane filtering. Bikers were in the wrong

One thing I don't understand is why dudes speed on routes they haven't vetted yet. Every time I go to the twisties or a rode I'll get crazy on, I'll ride it slow the first time to inspect conditions and potential hazards, then if it's clear I'll ride it. Never understand how people can get "caught off guard" by sand or gravel when you could've easily avoided it by vetting the route.
