I just bought this game. I hope it’s good. We need more space games..

The main issue with adding variation to planets where there wouldn't be any resources, is that if you get stranded with your ship and you have no fuel that's pretty much it. Or am I missing something? Most planets have the necessary resources to get out of there if you search around for a bit, but A desert or water planet might actually end the game for certain players

Had the swarm of ships helping me they absolutely abused the pirate i was ignoring in my general area

I think the coolest thing I have seen was a huge tornado on top of a cliff face by the right of me. I was walking along when an unfortunate animal dropped dead in front of my feet from the cliff above. I didn't know tornados could kill wildlife.

I actually had a base on a desert moon, and now I can't find it again to this day. If anyone runs into a desert moon discovered by Blivvmeister in Euclid, let me know.

Strangest was a rock mimic and the huge Larva worm thing that trip me out

I've been playing since 2016, and the coolest thing (to me) I've found was an airless "Terraforming Disaster" planet. There were ore deposits everywhere and the entire surface was bumpy with splotches of green and gold.

I found a planet that was all metallic with like robot animals and i found a sandworm by accident it jumped outta the ground and scared the shit outta me😂i haven't found another yet

Ive actually just last weekend visited a planet that is trying to be a sand planet. It had these massive openings which were just sand and rocks. That planet also had weird "Rex" same Rex but i found two variations. Idk if its possible to have same species with two different looks but my eyes didnt lie. If someone is interested i just might try to find that place. Im living in a cluster of star systems so its hard to remember where i found that place.

I've found systems that defy all logic. So crazy how this game has been out for so long and people are still discovering things. Most of my time now I just warp around and discover systems and planets.

The Strangest and the most terrifying moments is when No man sky decided to Make A MOB Fish that looks like a shark and a devil breed the same size of a cargo chip which is too big and i only saw the face when i turn around it scare me so much that i press Alt+ F4 but when i load back the game i can find the fish i do find that kind of fish but it is so small.....So Yeah Thz Hello Game for making me sh*t myself within 2 sec.

Just started my first playthrough and found a fractal planet with ossified stars everywhere then a day later found a robotic fauna planet, a walking rock planet and an exotic upon entering a space station 🎉

Strangest thing I ever saw was a planet whose rings intersected with it. Made for some unique visuals. You were fine when you stayed on one side of the rings. Trying to cross through them would land you in a weird limbo of graphical glitches.

While I was playing I encountered an abandoned space station and it already just looked creepy with everything being dark but when I went into the planets they were completely empty just rocky wastelands with no life besides that creepy ambience although there was one planet I went on that had trees everywhere suitable for life but still nothing was here only I was and again the ambience pushed me enough to just get on my ship and find another solar system

I found an ocean planet but all the terrain did render, just deep under the water. I couldn't find a place to land.

Strangest thing i saw aas a missibg chunk and if u jump in (which i did) you would fall infinitely until the chunk loads

I recently found a planet with "rolling hills" covering it. Except they were thousands of feet tall and many of the slopes were near vertical. It was absolutely uncanny looking. You could boost full speed along the tops because the peaks were so high they were up in the clouds.

Maybe I'm a bit late to ask but are volcanos rare? Cuz I found a planet full of Green lava and purple rock mountains

Wow, so neat, I loved this game, even though when I played I was young and didn't know half of the stuff I was supposed to be doing... Idk the strangest thing I've seen in No mans sky was this moon I was on, and iirc on that moon I kept hearing these really eerie sounds coming from somewhere.. Also one time I jolted for this star, thinking I could reach it, but I never was able to lol.

I realize this was posted a year ago, but the strangest thing ive seen so far is probably seeing the frigates fly out if the ground, or when I placed a base computer on my freighter, and teleported to it, to find myself at what I assume was 0,0,0 in the solar system, with my starship parked on nothing.

Strangest thing I've seen was bug where the game let me park my freighter basically inside of a planets atmosphere, when I landed on an exterior park the planets gravity kicked in an I fell to it, I was basically soft locked because I could summon the ship because it was "off planet" and I couldn't restore the save because I would just fall of it again

I found a planet where bubbles just constantly floated up out of the ground. Was really pretty.

I found a civilization escape pod in space.

They should've left the space station glitch, to hint at things to come.. glitches in the system

I found a planet last night that was 99% water and had constant gas storms. Took 10 minutes to find a spot big enough to land.
Hopped in the water and first thing I seen was a bunch of Abyssal Horrors.
Fairly new back to the game after 5 years and that’s the worst one I’ve seen so far.

I'm 8 hours in, and I have found some flying jelly fish in open space as well as a gigantic braincell
And bcs I watch your videos, I found a planet with floating flora, whitch I now know that is super rare 😁

Another great video! The glitch were the station debris would grow and dwarf the station actually still exists on Switch. Ay least was in patch 4.3.8 I didn't see any mention in the patch notes so probably still there. I remember seeing those clips like the one you showed a long time ago. I was very surprised to see it in person on Switch lol

Could you imagine how much better this game could be if they had planets that were "horror themed". Its the only way i can describe it. Or spacestations or ships that were abaondoned or left because of some freaky alien that attacked or got on board. Theres no doubt in my mimd that with how big this game is and how they update it that they couldnt add a hand full of planets scattered around in space that have a dark secret or history to explore.

In 2023 I've seen a trade station half buried in the terrain, where I had to dig to talk to the people, access the trading console, and talk to the pilotes. The funny thing was that spacecrafts would land and take off through the terrain 😅 I have built a base there, in case Hello Games would be interested looking into it

No offense; truly... but I think it's really odd when a younger person doesn't clear their throat so you have a crackly voice like an elderly person. Just clear your throat dude. That crackling is mucous keeping your vocal chords from vibrating properly. It's pretty gross.
