Great show guys, we were too late to watch live.
Subject: Petrol Head, who coined that description was it J Clarkson. I had an Alfa Romeo Alfetta does that count? I think it was called something else on the continent. It was the lesser 1800cc version but was fitted with something called twin choke webbers....no idea what that meant at the time except that it went like shit off a shovel, just before the head warped and needed skimming. Cost me half as much as I paid for the car but I was still quids in on the market value. The interior was lovely and the bodywork unmarked. I ran it for a couple of years. I realised our relationship was over when with no warning, one of the windscreen wipers flew off travelling down the M1 doing 45 mph.....okay 70 mph. On a closer examination the salted roads over the winter made the sills look as if they were destined for the same fate. Had to bargain with the scrapper not to have to pay them to tow it away. Loved the short lived experience anyways.

Subject: Rust Bucket
Before the Alfa, I bought two wire clothes hangers and converted them into a means to hold together the wings on my Datsun 120Y. I bought the car from a car auction with 12m MOT so what could go wrong. Lovely car while it lasted but after a few months was happy to recover and twist the clothes hangers back in to shape and continue to hang up my clothes after I had scrapped the car and carry on living.
