I am new to your channel and have one question if I may? Does the vehicle have to still have a valid registration in the country of registration or is it just the proof of own-ship through registration you need?
Seems silly to be paying for registration if your not using the vehicle in the original country anymore.
Hope my question makes sense.

When I ship the car to lets say from Alaska to Russia on the other side. How will I get to the other side on my own? Am I allowed to like stay in my car or something?

I heard most difficult part of boader crossing and vehicle paperwork and insurance are China, Russia, Iran and Turkmenistan. That was before the war. Now driving through Ukraine to Russia is not an option I think.

Who's going to tell him that you cant drive through the America's because of Darien National Park having no major roads, and extreme crime rates through a swamp?

Just question your choice of vehicle. Jeep parts are difficult to find in many countries. Toyota has the best parts availability worldwide.

Another piece of advice you need to prefer Japanese vehicle like Toyota,Isuzu suzuki,Nissan because are well known bring less attention to be Robbed especially in Africa, Asia and southern American.

So if youre going out of the US for over 6 months, do you discontinue/cancel your US insurance since youll be buying insurance in the new countries youre visiting? Or I wonder if you can let your insurance company know so you could still possibly qualify for any perks you may have obtained from being a ling time insurer.
