I live in the south, most of my life and I never see people waving guns around. They may be conceal carrying but they dont have them out in the open. I never see guns.

ОтветитьNot to sound rude, but I think many of the opinions are formed just to sound nice and positive because criticism or sometimes negativity especially directed at US or americans often results in very immature comments from them.
I personally think american patriotism is toxic, its a lot chest pumping and results in american excpetionalism. It sounds extreme to the rest of the world, because it is extreme indeed. I can go on why exceptionalism is so wrong but I think my point is clear.

ОтветитьHey babe, we love UCF go ORLANDO!!!!!
ОтветитьFlags : we are patriotic, babe...
ОтветитьI don't have one
ОтветитьWatch the national anthem like you have never heard before then you will understand about the flag
ОтветитьIt's just that Americans are more proud to be American than French are to be French. That's why the flags. REALLY funny that you mention not being used to guns. Listen the words in La Marseillaise. The French people could never again rise up like that against tyranny because they have allowed themselves to be disarmed.
ОтветитьIt's rational to consider guns something different/dangerous--because they *are*! If more Americans kept that wariness, we'd all be much safer. Guns are treated far too casually here; that's why so many people are killed with them.
ОтветитьWhat state were you in? The US is big... California culture is not like what was described, but I get the video.
ОтветитьAmerica was mostly rural until WWII so guns were used to control vermin.
ОтветитьBusinesses put up American flags because its good for business!
ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьThe irony is the people who have American flags hate America but idealized the America that never existed.
ОтветитьNot everyone in America has guns. Nor do they want too.
ОтветитьI love that you went to a gun range to try it out! Good for you!
ОтветитьIn America, not everyone feels the need to put American flags on everything. Typically, it's just the people who feel insecure about their patriotism and about themselves in general. Yeah, we have a lot of insecure nut jobs in America. We apologize for that.
ОтветитьYeah some people even text their teachers with questions. I email my teachers all the time even on weekends, I guess I never thought this was different but it’s good to have a relationship with your teacher to not be confused.
ОтветитьGuns are scary to Europeans because it's been ingrained in them. They settle for what they are allowed , do what they are told , and think what they are taught to.
ОтветитьEven though I think it's strange, the flag is culturally important in the US. I remember just after 9/11, there were people who didn't want to go to war, so they started hanging their flags upside-down. And using the flag in protest is as common as it is controversial. Flag burning, for example, to me, it's an expression of free speech, to some, they think "if you don't like it, leave" (which is the least patriotic thing anyone can say, especially when it comes from the people who see themselves as the most patriotic).
ОтветитьI think Europeans misunderstand the flag in US. A lot of people here use it to decorate their houses. It's a traditional decorating style. It's called Americana. It has kind of an antique Colonial vibe. I also put flags up in my house, not because I am so patriotic, but because I think it looks cute, and I like that Americana look. Basically, your house is not "well dressed" here in US, unless you have some colorful flags to decorate it.
ОтветитьAmerica’s strength is its diversity. To say that we all love guns or are fat and loud is not true of course. I used to like hunting with my Dad as a kid but am confused about the fascination with guns these days. What I love most about the US are the beautiful parks across our nation. They’re something that we can enjoy and share for generations. Check them out! You’ll find them nearby anywhere you travel.
Ответитьputain mais articules on comprends rien je me forcee
ОтветитьYou are right, American flag is every where, it is seen in Hollywood films also, backyard, terrace, is it necessary?
ОтветитьI guess you were shocked when you came to America because you didn't watch any of the 20000 videos describing how shocking America is. As for gun culture many French were happy to hear the firing of Allied guns around 1945.
ОтветитьDisplaying flags increased about 500% after the 9/11 attack and that influence still lingers on. School-related merchandise is a fairly recent thing -- it didn't exist in my day. Not everyone has a firearm, but Europeans always freak out over the fact that guns exist. Attentive wait-staff is called good service -- Europe is notorious for its rude waiters, especially in France and Italy.
ОтветитьI hear there are quite a few old French folks with German guns in their closets.
ОтветитьI was an exchange student for a summer term in France. The 10 Amendments shocked French. Americans are openly religious. Guns are a expression of individual freedom. Army cannot commandeer private houses. Warrants are needed. No self incrimination. Etc. France runs with out these.
ОтветитьYou don’t think it is scary how in the past governments had the guns and genocide happen meanwhile it took a very long time well genocide was happening to gain the guns to stop the genocide
ОтветитьWhen she said many guns I heard mini guns I love the french accent no disrespect just love how they speak
ОтветитьNo guns no country pride.and yet nobody got hurt
ОтветитьI love listening to your French vowel pronunciations coming through. But your English is fantastic! I have been practicing French for over 2 years now and I feel like I am nowhere near as fluent yet. The hardest part is remembering word orders and sentence structures when having a conversation. Continuez les super vidéos !
ОтветитьYou poor girl. I am so sorry for you. You went to PA.
ОтветитьI think Mark Twain had it right regarding flying the US flag. :“Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it.” ― Mark Twain For nearly all of us, the flag represents nearly all of us. Our government is sometimes not for nearly all of us.
ОтветитьChérie, mais ça c’est franglais 🤪
ОтветитьAs a Texan its weird that the rest of the US doesn’t have as many flags 😅
ОтветитьI have never owned a gun. Most of my friends don't own guns. We are not all gun nuts.
ОтветитьOk great stuff but you gotta slow down a little bit, your English is excellent, but slower so we can understand you even better. thank you!
ОтветитьIt's true, it's way to many flags in the US.
ОтветитьWhat’s the point in having the right bear arms? I want the right to the entire bear costume, otherwise I will look very silly.
ОтветитьCome to Texas and you will see guns carried on the hip. Texas lives their 2nd Amendment. Also, you will see just as many Texas flags if not more than American flag as ga. We are a proud Texas culture.
ОтветитьShe is from the Northe of France... I can tell... perhaps a Dutch, Flemish, grandmother somewhere.... I can tell....
ОтветитьRepublicans have all the guns because they are cowards.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьMight be a little late, but I just wanted to say you look very beautiful
ОтветитьJust going from state to state can give us Americans culture shock!
ОтветитьYou know i saw a few people in the comments arguing about american things. Why cant we get along?
Ответить
