I purchased the Sony M4's last Black Friday 2022 at Best Buy for $228. The original price is $399.99. I am hoping this year, the Sony M5's will be on sale Black Friday 2023. My Sony M4's are awesome and the sound quality if great on my 2022 Samsung OLED S95B 4K Smart Television. I want to upgrade to the M5's. Unfortunately, the Sony Headphones are very expensive and especially where you're located looking at the prices in the store in this video.

I'm seeing a lot of comments online saying this product has a build problem which involves the hinge rotator cuff part breaking very easily (like a month of use), is this true? I'm thinking of returning this product or exchange them for Bose Quiet Comfort since it doesnt seems too durable can anybody help me 😥😥

i found out after i got my xm5s that Thisistechtoday is a scummy person, because when i was looking for good Equalizers online i saw that people were talking about him on reddit that he kept getting peoples Comments deleted because he doesn’t want people to have his Eq settings? which is weird and he makes people pay for them 😒, the only problem i have with the Xm5s are the headband it just hurts over time but overall the headphones are nice

I have the Soundcore Anker ones and I really recommend them too, especially for tighter budgets! I paid about 85 Euros and they are really nice. The noise cancelling is a life saver, it has a custom EQ, and they are light and comfortable with soft cushions!

Hey great video, your video actually helped me decide what I wanted. A couple of years ago I had some Sony WH1000XM4s but I lost them, believe it or not they were stolen at an airport abroad. I then replaced these with some lower end Sony WH-CH710s but again I wanted to get back that extra comfort, quality and get good noise cancelling.
I received the XM5s a few weeks ago and have been fairly happy with these. I bought these along with the Sony WH-CH720Ns and the cheaper WH-CH520s (for my son and daughter in that order). I am impressed with the headphones and they seem to connect to my S23 Plus pretty well. I have a huge amount of music so there is no shortage of tests for these!

I have the xm3 sony headphones. Theyre 4 years old and in brand new comdition. My bose qc35 II on the other hand…i meant to add that the ear cups should be replaceable on most of the high end headphones. I know Bose, Sony, and Beats are replaceable. It might take some research based where you are in the world. I think custom one had the clearest sound.

Does it stain easily?

This was great :) I own the XM4s and have had them for 2 years. They’re great but I do feel like they’re fading a bit. Every now and again they’ll drop the audio and videos will go out of sync so I’ve been thinking of upgrading. Maybe once it’s truly unbearable I’ll upgrade to these 🤣🫡
