My friend who is a cabin crew says in reality pilots on long haul flights pass da time either, resting/ quick nap in cockpit, or chat-up the stewardess or have a smoke

There is much more to do than your video mentions. There is less down time than you imply with your remarks about puzzles.

They should be “passing” the time…..they should be watching where they’re going.

I usually make a drink and then take a quick nap in the cockpit. People can get upset but honestly planes these days basically fly themselves.
