I'm a therapist and have had to help some families deal with 1 or more members who are homosexual.
Some of them expect me to make homosexuals straight, but all I could tell them.
"I'm sorry Mr. or Mrs. (Whatever),
my work is not to cure homosexuality, I just treat people who might have problems, I help them accept who and what they are!"
That's my job

I'm so grateful my parents didn't teach me to be prejudice or biased. As I grew up and my world became larger, I was appalled to learn people can be prejudice!
Later, I got bullied for standing up against it. I didn't care because I knew my heart and mind was in the right place.
A day came when the bully, much bigger than me, was going to beat me up. At first I was scared because I'd witnessed the bully beating on someone but stepped in. The kid didn't try to defend, just deflect blows. Then I got angry.
"Ok, I know you can beat me up but let me tell you something, you will KNOW you've been in a fight because I'm not going to make it easy."
To my surprise the bully backed down and NEVER picked on or bullied another kid after that day.
Anyway, my secret is...

One of the hardest things in my life has been to come out and be HONEST about my gayness. Hard, yes. But what a joy and relief for me personally. Thank God I am gay, and that after years of hidibg and yes, lieing to virtually the entire universe about who and what I am, I finally had the strength and wisdom to reveal my true self. I am sooo much happier now than I was while in that dark, lonely closet! I am gay, I am out,and most of all, I am PROUD! Bless u all, an I urge everyone to support any gay person u know.
