I think the most interesting thing to me about Night Creatures is the distinction between, well, the distinct ones, and the "generic" ones. Like the bat demons, or those red shelled ones Alucard fought, they seem to be a "type" that appears on mass, QED, everyone Isaac stabbed in the video became the same kind of creature, but other times, unique ones are produced, like Fly Eyes and all the other ones that followed Isaac, hell the Bishop and the Scar Faced Slaver both produced ones with (in different degrees) obvious features of the body used.

They became part of a bigger plan so it's a greater good

I really feel bad for this guy. He just wants to have faith that people can be better, and yet he keeps running into clueless assholes who ruin the world for everyone else.

Honestly if someone with an army of demons was willing to parlay instead of straight up massacring my city first, asking questions never then I would use my head and talk to him to gauge his intentions.

Dude shows up with a bunch of litteral demons while other demons are litterally anihilating the neighboring country.

What did Issac expect from this dumb human to do when he and his demon troops got on the middle of the city? Can't he be smarter than this and go a way around to the north?

I’m not going to lie. I don’t like Isaac. He is incredibly arrogant without being self aware. He perceives himself as flawless and the definition of morality. He is a hypocrite.

People giving the guards shit for not letting them pass seem to fail to understand that they're looking at this with hindsight; if you work for the town guard and monsters show up your job is to stop them, the fact that that the sergeant even opened a dialogue to begin with an told him to turn around is still more hospitality than Isaac deserved here.

Imagine if someone walked into a store and started waving a gun in your face but he "promised" not to hurt anyone, I sure wouldn't fucking trust the scumbag.

Isaac landing in a town and not just getting dropped off a few miles down shore was him looking for a fight. Isaac intentionally picked this fight so he could justify his idea that humanity is evil, kill innocent people, and increase his army. He wanted to kill them when he landed but his conversation with the captain led him to try half-assed "diplomacy" first.
