What Makes a Great Scuba Fin in 2020 ?

Mares Avanti Quattro are simply the best!

I'm currently diving the highly underrated Atomic X1 Blade fin. These are every bit as good as, if not better than, the "gold standard" Mares Avanti Quattro.

I dive with the aqualung slingshot i find that they awesome and i realy like the adjustable blade .

Drysuit diving, I find the Hollis F1 Bat fin quite effective.

Tusa switch pros. Little stiffer fin, great, comfortable and easy on and off.

For dry suit diving a heavier rubber fin is the best choice (scubapro jetfins, shark, hollis F1 etc). Might try the Avanti Quattro for my wetsuit this summer.

I've had my Seawing Nova's for 4 years now and they're simply amazing fins. Superb thrust and very comfortable. Performs beautifully. The other pair that I love are my Apeks RK 3's - different characteristics but also top notch fins.

Been watching your content, and I do like your videos :) looking at the nova and hyflex switch, Kinda like the softer foot pocket of the switch, but how do they compare( nova and switch) in terms of ease of kicking and power/speed?

So whats the best now?
