It is good to plant trees. But mother earth knows how to repair herself if necessary. No need to do propaganda on climate change. Mankind has no control over it. But only can fake as if humans can control.

Like california climate change bills are written for renewable energy corporations, electricity company's, Bankers and stakeholders profits not our planet or the people.
The Drecp renewable energy plan want to disstroy millions of acres of land by grading the plants, amimals and egosystem in the soil. These corporations have forgotten Lessons learned from the 1930s and 1950s. We had Strom fires because of the soil was distroyed. Yet grading the plants, soil is going backward.
The bill take from the people and give the renewable energy corporations full carte Blanche to disstroy our lands. Huge grants, they can use all the water they want and limit the people's water, tax free lands until 2030, while raising the people property taxes, the electricity corporations get all new lines with federal and state funds and full cooperation, the people received higher electricity rates and the time of day for the higher rate increase is when everyone is at home doing dinner, dishes, laundry and baths and if you have an electric car.

Isn't just about planting trees, is about ending habits of productions and consumption that are not sustainable with limited resources.

This is something every country and "overlords" knows since globalization. First they fought each other for the resources, and they still do, and know that the reserves are in the end they try to project solutions tangibles for the people to engage ("planting trees"). As a Brazilian I am all for planting trees, we really need that right now, but I also know we need to have a deeper dialogue about resources.

Our capitalist economy was built in a way that resources are only valuable as their value in the market right now, and because of that we burned tons of material when they were cheap and we couldn't extract the most of it. Then some technology advancement makes that material valuable for the market again and it is overly consumed till extinction. Our whole society and economy being ruled by the market isn't sustainable. Economy is in theory about administrating resources and not profit.

I wish we could have a wave of new economic theories considering the environment as primary "oppressed" resources, as we had about workers.
And you should do TEDs about that, about ways to REALLY change something.
In Brazil it's obvious that our politics will bring climate changes in the whole planet.
We can't keep planting millions of trees as they burn billions in one day.
