I don't know how this was recommended to me, but it's the best cooking show I've watched in AGES. I was laughing out loud all by myself and enjoyed every minute of it. This woman is IT.

That was not a basic dinner. Hot tip Alison...we do the stuffing with sourdough bread, chicken broth and celery, onion, spices, mushrooms sauted in butter. Then all in a crock pot. The broth is organic from a carton! Its the best stuffing ever! Moist and yet holds its shape. So much lighter, not so rich. But the best!!

I could forgive her if she used canned whole cranberries but not what she used. Making fresh cranberry relish is the easiest and most delicious thing on your Thanksgiving plate.

Several LOL and charming moments. Also not me screaming "YESSS!" when you mentioned the canned cranberries lol.

I made it through five minutes and 40 seconds before I turned it off. Entirely too much personality. And you’re completely wrong about pumpkin pie made from scratch, which I didn’t even get to in the video, but saw in the clips at the beginning. If it’s pumpkin pie, and you can taste pumpkin, that’s a win. I really liked the concept of small kitchen, use for preparing the meal, but she makes me want to explode. It’s the sound of her voice, in the fact that she just yammers to herself, which appears to be her favorite form of conversation. Not a fan.

Anyone know what brand of bench/dough scraper Alison is using? She uses it when she makes the apple galette and later when she chops veggies. It looks like green plastic.

Watched this years ago and laughed as she tried to find counter space to land her dishes. Just downsized this year and I’m back to watch carefully, (no longer laughing) this genius choreography in a small kitchen space! Brilliant tips and tricks from our heroine of the holidays! Cranberry boinks are better than any I Love Lucy episode!😂

Okay, I'm jealous at how easy and effortless you made all that look. The fluster near the end is me, but all day. Do not attempt the no-planning hosting as a homecook, I did it so you don't have to. It's stressful and you're cooking all day and don't have as much room to cook as you clean and you're too tired to enjoy the actual company. Gravy tastes better the next day (pretty much any sauce), so make it the night before then add the drippings day of. I promise you, planning and prepping before the day of makes the process so much more enjoyable
