My watch is like in minute 4.30 of the video. I keep pressing the adjust button and it does nothing.. i see you did it a couple of times in the video... how did you solve the issue??

Thanks, this video is enormously useful. I meant to order a watch repair kit ages ago, I'm going to order one and do the next battery replace on my Casio GA1000 myself, without fail.
Home Depot for some reason doesn't stock them locally, they make you order them specially, which is retarded. Although screwdrivers from a basic micro-computer repair kit
should work ok for this watch, I guess. It helps to have some neutral nonmag tweezers or something for it, though. I was going to even order another G Shock, but I love the GA1000, it's
really my every day all day watch, the problem is if you get crap batteries that aren't fresh, the jeweler screws you and the watch dies within a year or less. The light and glow on the hands on this watch are really great, much better than most of my other GShocks. I have a blackout military GShock that you can't read the displays at all at night, the light on it is CRAP. (GA100) The GA1000
is far superior and is a much better quality timepiece.

after I replaced the battery, the top right displayed "OPEN", I cannot do anything about it. kindly assist!! thanks

After I replaced new battery, the analog times always slower that digital, after adjusted both to same, it happen again everyday. ;(

Could anyone help me here,after replacing the battery,the light stay on,and drain the battery,I have 2,the orange and the black w/metal bands,and same issue,replaced the battery light stays on,won’t shut off at all

I bought a GA 1000 but it seems the rubber part that touches the back plate is missing. Where do I buy that part? I e tried searching and can't seem to find anything. Thank you.
