Gracie’s Corner is a YouTube channel that provides
children of color content through a cultural and

educational lens. It was created by Javoris
Hollingsworth who was inspired to start the channel
after seeing the lack of representation in the
content his young daughter was consuming. He and his
wife, Arlene, started the channel at the beginning of
the pandemic. The channel provides a combination of
educational, fun, and encouraging songs for children
from diverse backgrounds. In July 2022, the channel
garnered 77 million views.

The channel has become popular due to its unique

content that is both educational and entertaining for
children. It features #Gracie , a young Black girl, and
other characters who are Black and Latino. The show
is named after Hollingsworth’s young daughter.
