What I love about those escalator tubes is that they were used for the album cover for "I Robot", by the Alan Parsons Project.

Interesting design it gives a space mountain vibe like the ride at Disney.

I have my flight out of Europe and I have to transit in CDG I will arrived at T2 and transit transfer to T1. My destination is not Europe so should I pass the clear immigration to go to T1? Thank you!

Horrible airport... Compare with Madrid, or even Budapest!

i will depart whit qatar airways will be very problematic to found chek in and gate and how many hours before i hawe to be there ? i will be on terminal 1

In immigration what do they usually ask if they do? is it straightforward? You get a stamp in the passport?

Haha, so terminal 1 is a bit like a changi/KL variant (where you do passport in the main building and security at your designated gate (or pier)... its a bloody maze...

And i assume terminal 2 of that airport is like normal (where you do passport and security in 1 go)

I get lost so easily in this airport, even if I’m actually French! But still, the design inside and out of the building is nice :)

CDG is unique in its beautiful design. But it needs more toilets. I found myself walking like half a km to find a restroom. Unfortunately, in this world of terrorism, you have to haul your luggage with you wherever you go. So it was a hassle going to the restroom.

It was in CDG I first saw escalators that turn on as you approach it. Then shuts off when not in use. Smart.

Terminal 1 is a design disaster.
Like a stale Dunkin Donut.
They should tear down Terminal 1 and redo it.
Even Air France left it for the Terminal 2 complex!
