I would like to mention that the old Iranians have migrated to south India. They were residents of ZAGROS mountain.
I can not undrestand why the residents of Zagros are not considered as Anatolians. These warriors were go to all the directions.

The Elamo-Dravidian hypothesis is unlikely to be true. Also it is strange for him to refer to the era of 3000 BC as iron age, when it was actually the bronze age.

I'd say the majority of Iranians are Caucasian, because they definitely look the part. Some small minorities in the south are slightly genetically different. But theyre more similar to other Iranians than they are to the neighbours.
They're a colourful bunch overall. You can find people who are blonde, or blue eyed, you can find people who look dark skinned like arabs (you'll find some hebrew blood in some iranins) and Indians.

I am helping a Swedish friend (adopted from Iran), it's a challenging task because Iranians people are largely undertested population, Iran is a multiethnic and someway very mixed nation, his closest DNA relatives are on range of half 2nd cousins but they are more likely distant due to endogamy... he is carrier of a quite rare R1b-M269 lineage (R-PF7562)...

The short is answer no. But here is why:

The Yamnaya were predominantly dark haired and less blonds. But the Corded Ware Culture were the exact opposite. And it was from tribes from the Corded Ware Culture who spread Iranic and Indo-Aryan languages. Which means not only Scythians but majority of those tribes were Nordic looking. Modern Iranians look different now because some of those tribes who split, already mixed a lot with indigenous farmers within their own region, before they arrived to West Asia.

So modern Iranians were assimilated by Iranic speaking farmers, who were assimilated themselves. While In India the Indo Aryan tribes directly mixed with them. Hence why the highest caste have more steppe dna than Persians, Kurds, Azeris etc. Because the Proto Indo-Iranian had no direct contact with the Chaltolithic population In Zagros. But Chaltolithic dna increased even higher when these Iranic speaking farmers migrated to the area and took on the name as Medians and Persians.

Check out the book The limits of Whiteness by an Iranian female author. Also, take into consideration the politics of the Aryan Persians. The last Shah's father was a Nazi supporter and he's the one who changed the name from Persia to Iran. I read a book by Robin Wright called The Last Great Revolution and she estimated that the population in Iran that are Persian at 20-30%. My mother was Iranian Jewish and my father is azeri Iranian Aramaic Jewish. He's very pale skinned compared to my mom's side who are from further south of Iran and her side is a lot darker. But my dad, when I asked him if he considered us White gave me a surprising No! I understand that I'm not going into genealogy but I just wanted to show the political aspect of it. I have a couple of friends who are of Black African heritage and when they call me White I find it very offensive and ignorant on their part. For some reason some people see the world in Black and White and it's not that simple. Hispanic people are labeled as brown but most of their presidents are pale skinned and remnant of their Spanish colonizers. There are Arabs that are blonde hair blue eyed. Not being disrespectful but just trying to make the point that we're a lot more diverse than many think. Thx for the video. I've seen the original one this is based on. Also, I remember on a talk show a KKK member got a genetic test and was pissed to hear he had African genes and a Black man of the nation of Islam leaning was pissed to hear he had Scottish genes or something like that. In a few hundred years if we're still around as a species countries that are ethnically diverse will be so mixed from interracial marriage and kids I think there won't be any 1 single race and that would be awesome to see! 😉🙂✌🏽

The relationship between DNA and race is complex. While DNA can provide information about an individual's ancestry and genetic heritage, it is not a definitive indicator of race.

Race is a social construct, meaning it is a concept created by society to group people based on physical characteristics such as skin color, hair texture, and facial features. However, these characteristics are influenced by multiple genes and do not necessarily correspond to distinct genetic categories.

In 2000, the National Academy of Sciences issued a statement asserting that "race is not a scientifically valid or useful concept for describing human biological diversity." This is because the genetic differences between individuals within a racial group are typically greater than the differences between individuals from different racial groups.

That being said, genetic testing companies often use DNA to make predictions about an individual's ancestry, which may include information about their race. However, these predictions are based on probabilities and should not be considered definitive or absolute.

It's also important to note that the use of DNA to determine race has ethical implications, particularly in the context of law enforcement and criminal justice. For example, the FBI uses DNA to predict the race of suspects, but this practice has been criticized for perpetuating racial stereotypes and biases.

In summary, while DNA can provide some information about an individual's ancestry and genetic heritage, it is not a reliable indicator of race. Race is a social construct that does not have a clear scientific definition, and its use in the context of DNA testing and law enforcement is subject to interpretation and ethical considerations.

He’s wrong about transfer of agriculture from Iran to India. Recent population genetics have proven that. Agriculture was invented in northern India independent of Iran. Because pre Aryan genetic transfer between India and Iran happened when they were both huntergatherers. But yes they were genetically related I.e. being descended from Iranian hunter gatherer. Elamites are predecessors to Iranis and South Indians too. Also these places were in contact with each other through Indus Valley culture.

Iranians are Indo European. Lydians and Medes from the north got mixed with Persians from the south. Cyrus the great united them. Iranians and Greeks got mixed during their war and invasion by the Greeks. Greeks ruled over Persian for five hundred years. Alexander the great married a Persian woman (Roxane) . He also made his generals marry Persian women.

I'd like to protest about the fact that the video he was "reacting" to was a talk over loud music and later also loud singing. What was the point of that? Does it make it more difficult for someone else to copy and paste, because they have to pay for copyrighted music? Whatever the reason, it makes it harder to make out what is being said and increases the chances of falling asleep while listening.
