Is this exercise help us to control our hands? How much should we do this exercise before we could start playing the rhythm?
Sorry for my stupid question!
This video was a long time ago. As was the last comments. So illm just commenting bere to say this is still helping many people in luding myself today and i am over the moon i got this in my sight as assistance for the future. Thanks so much and please continue to create drum related videos. Your style of teaching is incredibly understanding and accommodating to many peoples styles of learning. Please do more like this. So good. Thank you. 🥁
ОтветитьExcellent 👌
ОтветитьThank you man.
ОтветитьDrums for some reason came really natural for me. The first time I sat at a drum kit I was able to play basic beats and 10 mins later did my first tom fill. I played snare drum in band in 6th grade (1998) so I knew basic sticking at least. Anyways, I never practiced and am self taught. Which means I kinda suck especially since my kit was packed away for 8 years, so I'm starting from scratch and going back to a single pedal. This is going to help immensely, thank you. I didn't realize how important it is to always practice with a metronome. I had been speeding through my fills and never noticed.
Ответитьthis is too much for my little poop brain
Ответитьlol this is the easiest stuff ever.. people actually watch this?
ОтветитьWow
Ответить❤so great thanks so much!
ОтветитьThank You Sir 🙏
ОтветитьThe first problem right off the bat I see is that this is a beginners simple warm up exercise and is suppose to be counted as 2 groups of 4 (1234 / 1234) not a in odd time counting of 1 group of 8. Secondly counting in odd time signature only the first syllable of seven is said and not last half of the syllable. The 2nd syllable half of seven would be counted as another note /hit. Also for beginners a click or peep sound they can’t play with so it’s much simpler to actually have a snare drum hit sound. Other than that the lessen is solid.
ОтветитьGood exercise, but why are you counting 5,6,7,8 instead of repeating 1,2,3,4 ?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьWelcome Sir 💐🙏💐
ОтветитьI loved it I just started drums I followed you it helps me so much

ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьGreat teaching tho! :)
ОтветитьIt would be nice if you made a advanced version of this because I want this but higher tempo
Ответитьplease tell tempo speed also ... thanks
Ответитьawesome ,
ОтветитьThis helped me so much!!! Now I am even more faster when I play the drum. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьNow, that is what you call a lesson. I like the slow build-up to get you used to the timing.
ОтветитьHello Eliseo, THANK YOU your video is brilliant.
ОтветитьSo helpful
ОтветитьI love how you teach it !
Ответить"That's right you thought we were done, there's actually one more page to do"
Many flashbacks of orchestra class :')
These are the exact patterns my school is using to teach me drumming, now I can really practice what my school is teaching
ОтветитьIs it ok if you miss a day here and there? Also after seven days of practicing this do you keep doing it periodically? Or has the foundation been laid so to speak? Thanks for these great videos!
ОтветитьHi! I’m a veteran musician and fairly new drummer, so I was able to get all of these patterns relatively quickly. However, your teaching is incredible in this, and you did a great job!
ОтветитьThis made it so easy for me to improve upon my sticking. I love your encouragement as we go through together. The best teacher I've ever had and you aren't even my teacher! I wish I could like twice!
ОтветитьI just complete day 2! What do you recommend next week?
ОтветитьGreat rudiments. Practiced for a couple of hours. Getting faster. Thanks
ОтветитьI completed this whole thing 100%
