Why i have this gun as AKU-12 instead of AK-12 ? Anyone know about this ? I had the option to buy it permanently and I did as AKU-12 and this cannot be undone. Anyone can help me ?

The year the whole point of my comment below lists that the ak-12 is definitely not the same as it was in this video it's not as accurate and there's a lot more recoil now it's definitely been nerve threesome or at least in the last three years since he's made this video LOL

for anyone watching this in 2019 this video is about 3 years old now and the ak-12 has definitely been nerfed or something because the recoil is a lot different than it was in this video. Maybe it's just because I only got the demo for Arma 3 because I don't want to show that much money for the game and DLC when it seems to be pretty s*** when it comes to frame rate and certain things about the game not making sense like how a 5.56 there's almost no damage whatsoever and I'll give me wrong I'm not a big fan of 5.56 or .223 caliber rounds and I've always kind of been more partial the 7.62×39 cuz it is a big around with more kinetic energy and power down range and can do more destruction oh, and I also on the negative since I was 18 years old(2008) so I'm also partial to AKs... But the 5.56 round does do a pretty good job at penetrating a lot of things especially with the right bullet it can actually be better at penetrating than some 7.62 rounds SMH I know I'm producing already knows this cuz he's done plenty of stuff with DemolitionRanch and he's done funny videos on penetration LOL... AK-12 is 5,45 not 7,62

I love the AK-12 or the AK with the GL, it's quite the powerful rifle. I ended up preferring it to my other favorite assault rifle, the Type 115. It's still a close run "to me", BUT I end up using the AK more often than not. It seems like one click on the 2x burst shot will put most all enemies down immediately. Very, very fun to use.

Lol Im playing with Katiba and Im doing fine but when I was using the first weapon in Koth I had a lot of kills too, there's not that much difference, everyone can kill pretty easily in KOTH up to 300m.

The reload animation doesn't make sense, AK-12 has an ambiudextrous charging handle so the operator doesn't have to reach across the gun to charge it.

ak12 in burst mode is OP . you can empty the mag quicker then full auto

Well, 7.62x39 is actually worse against people and armor.

Worse against armor because the lack of research into AP ammo, along with the speed it travels at.

Worse against people because it doesn't tumble or fragment as well, which is why the fighters in the Afghanistan War called 5.45x39 the "Poison bullet".

On top of that 6.5 recoil is reported to not be that bad.... while 7.62x39 is shown to be pretty terrible.

wouldn't the recoil test also depend on ROF. If the rifle can fire 30 rounds faster than others it would thus have less time to travel vertically.
