@Banzaiaap It is on the Collectors edition of the soundtrack.
Ответить@chrisakatoe456 I'm sorry to say, but after downloading the Collector's Edition (having bought the original soundtrack) it turns out the torrent description was innaccurate and the song is in fact the Ricky Nelson version. Sorry to have gotten your hopes up, I must say I was very disappointed too. One day I will find the Gary Shorelle version and when I do I will let you know.
Ответитьcan anyone tell me where i can get the bass tab for this one? : D
Ответитьgreat!!!!!! :D
ОтветитьPulp Fiction forever!!! :D
Ответить@RoverTCB nope, the song isnt in the pulp fiction soundtrack. forget it. too bad though, it would have been great to find it there
Ответить@CCCPSimbirsk try using your ears hero.
Ответить@Sathanico no shit sherlock, why else should i ask for a bass tab?
Ответитьhmm i wonder if i prefer the pulp fiction version because i heard it first. that other bloke plays the ac. guitar really decent on it
ОтветитьThrow my books on the table pick up the telephone "Hello Baby is your Old Lady Home" Rock N Roll
Ответить@RoverTCB The song isn't on the soundtrack album, sadly
Ответить@RoverTCB It ain't on soundtrack ;)
Ответитьdoes someone know the chords for this song?
Ответить@RoverTCB the track is not on the soundtrack...
Ответить@TheLadandLass well, the claim at the time was that he looked like a cross between elvis presley and fabian forte. that was an incidental that drew in the teeny-boppers, but he was truly musically gifted. he and pat boone made rock and roll "acceptable", to mainstream america, at the time
Ответить@crowdaddy57 this song was'nt the opening. This song was for when he went to the burger joint. Excellent song for the scene but it was not the opening song.
Ответить@papillonaquatique Amen
Ответить@carlosestra89 It's mostly just E, with some E6 (i.e. fret the B string at the 2nd fret) thrown in to make it a shuffle. The whole verse is sung over the E/E6 shuffle, then they hit an E right as the music drops out at the end of the verses. Then the Chorus is just E (One two, buckle my shoe, three four), A, B7 (get out on the floor), E (fix six come), A (get your kicks down on the), B7 (corner of Lincoln and 46) and back to E. That's it. Pure genius in its simplicity.
ОтветитьThis makes me crave a five dollar shake, Martin and Lewis of course
ОтветитьI'd rather have an Ames & Andy :D
ОтветитьLol! This was in the year my parents were both born. =D
ОтветитьAnyone ever notice that Joe Walsh lifted the guitar lick at 00:42 and made it the hook from his song "All Night Long"?
ОтветитьAlso sounds like led zeppelin did in Friends
ОтветитьYeah, Friends cops the basic feel of it, although with a different melody. Joe Walsh copies this lick note for note, in the same key even. But I agree with your comment.
ОтветитьAnybody have any idea what equipment Burton was using on this and Stood Up? Doesn't sound like a Tele, lots of crunch going on.
Ответитьjoe maphis played on stood up and waiting in school. james came in right after these hits.
ОтветитьHeard this playing in a hat shop.
ОтветитьI see that you are a fan of Rick's, so I thought I'd tell you I just wrote a book about his musical career. It's called Rick Nelson: Rock and Roll Pioneer by Sheree Homer.
ОтветитьAmazon and Barnes and Noble have it for sale.
Ответитьyou're right.both are great tunes.
ОтветитьJack Rabbit Slim's
ОтветитьI love the scene in Pulp Fiction where right before they go into Jack Rabbit Slim's Mia tells Vince "Don't be a" and then she mimes what should be a square but is actually a rectangle.
ОтветитьRicky Nelson bah! This song is pure James Burton.
ОтветитьNERDDDDDD
ОтветитьWhy, yes. Yes I am.
ОтветитьWhy do we feel the need to yack about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
ОтветитьAh ha! So that's where John Fogerty stole that lick from. Fogerty will play the lick at 0:43 when he plays "Keep On Chooglin'" live.
ОтветитьC'mon daddy O, don't be a [ ]
Ответитьchooooooooooooon
ОтветитьWas looking for this song for ages since I saw pulp fiction
Ответитьfine song! Aloha from Hawaii!
ОтветитьDid you just order a $5 shake?
Ответитьgreat song love this song
ОтветитьHe was way better than Elvis just for the simple fact that he wrote a lot of his songs.
ОтветитьDon't be a * Draws Square with Hands *
ОтветитьWhat are baby doll shoes?
Ответитьc'est fantastique c'est tellement génial 👍
ОтветитьShut up. I want to hear his haters sing it better than him. The real rhyme itself came from Elvis Presley but at least he was able to tell us what goes on the B-side of Hounddog by Elvis the king of Pop music back in the 50's. Countless Crows
"Well the white version of the story was all white and perverted. Racist bigots with picket signs ruled over atheists. Yeah, about the 60's and Vietnam War tell me something I don't know."
Oh wow! A rock and roll. First time I'm hearing this. Very grand to swing one's hips and move on the dance floor with speed. ❤
