What do y'all play these rom hacks on i just bought a miyoo mini plus strictly for pokemon gba and found out theres a whole community for hacked pokemon story lines and what not im scared of getting a rom hack and losing a save how do you guys prevent that from happening

Best Pokemon Hack is liquid Crystal.

Not in the list but only ROM I've played and finished so far was Emerald Crest. It's very faithful og so far as story and mechanics are involved but the dex does reach up to Gen 8. Still waiting on the update if they add more TMs.

I personally really like the Fire Ash fan game. It lets you play through Ash’s story through each region.

Pokemon Glazed is also an excellent gen 3 rom hack with an absolutely enormous roster and effectively 3+ regions worth of content

Pokemon on gamecube has that great attack animations than modern pokemon games.

I am a older fella, i aint played since red/blue. I just started with a game called Radical Red and its been a rough go. Taking a moment on it to regroup my brain cause i been waxed more on that game than I have any game I ever played ever. Its on your list and the new update 4.0 is nice. I been on it for a week so far with 30 hours. Each means the entire week I been living on that shit.

In my opinion, a real hack rom needs to have Underground, as it does in Light Platinum.
It gives you the immersion of another world. In fact, hack roms still need to improve on this region creativity, get off the ground a bit and create strange regions, new resources.

Your recommendation of Rocket Edition was fantastic. I fell in love with the story and it changed my whole perspective of the original characters throughout the entire series. It left me with a sense of completion but also a feeling of what do I do now that I'm done with this life. Easy 15/10

Blaze black 2 redux is hard as hell. It could just be me but the poison gym (The rocker one) is hard as hell. Even with more then 10 levels over the leaders pokemon i couldnt do crap.

It's been a really long time since I had this much fun playing a Pokemon game. Truly amazing work done by the team. Pokemon Rocket Edition is now my #1 favourite Pokemon game of all time by far.

I used to play Ultra fire red on GBA emulator on my phone and it was so much fun, the amount and availability of pokemon makes it so easy to beat the game with completely different teams.

Please play pokemon Vega for 100 hours, it's one of my top pokemon hacks though it has its shortcoming, but brain new region and new original mons were incredible!

My favorite rom hack is, by far, Light Platinum. Unlike what the name sounds, it's a rom hack using ruby as the base. It gives new regions(exploring two) and have pokemon all the way up to Gen 5. You can get a starter from each generation and I'm pretty sure Luxray is a dark/electric type(as it should be)

I think the best hack rom is Pokemon Xenovers i play it for a week and holy moly its so nice i love this game so much so many quest to make and the after story is so good🥰 and much lore from silver and gold its i love the sad story from electric leader and X Pokemon and the 3 legendarys from gold and silver its so much fan service and details from the lore from gold and silver with the 3 eveeloution there are made to the 3 legendary pokemon and this have new mega evolution i wish me so much that the pokemon company make so an pokemon game with so nice story but yeah they dosnt make so nice games ...

I'm honestly shocked that Adventure Red Chapter Vol. 1 isn't in the list, while Fusion 3 is. There are 2 fusion games, both that add nothing to the game other than fussions, one with fixed ones and one with whatever you want. I'd definitely take one off and add Red Chapter or actually any of a list of a bunch of romhacks. Glazed or Clover would also be candidates

Blaze Black and Volt White 2 redux is honestly my favourite of all time, it's just Black and White 2 (my favourite Pokémon games) but bigger and better than ever, truly the definitive Gen 5 games and probably the best of any both official and ROM hacked games I've played on the DS.
