This is irrelevant but I've been a slacker barista for 13 years and I have to comment on the coffee commercial.
Home baristas always overdo it because they copy the most vocal nerds in the industry. Those turbo nerds don't usually make the best coffee though. There's a lot of Wu Wei that goes into it. It's an intuitive science, like cooking.
I would also never fuck with a home espresso machine because of how much of a fucking pain it all is. Just buy a $5 latte a few times a week and make yourself a French press at home.

the funny thing about emulation devices in my second hand experience, is that people spend more time researching about them and then building and collecting them, but they don't really use them lol
