I honestly can't wait for this game. I haven't played Samurai Warriors since the Samurai Warriors 2 Empires. I somehow never knew 4 or 4-Empires came out and Samurai Warriors 3 couldn't work on my Wii when I was a kid so I am really excited for this to release.

Just looking at this is taking me back to dw6 where they stripped away all of the weird/fun weapons. The only difference is they just seemed to remove all of the characters that had them...

Hyper attacks are in no way new. They've been there since at least sw3 and in the orochi games as well if I'm not mistaken

Did they design this 5th sequel to appeal to Android/IOS users? I mean... Nintendo Switch enthusiasts? As a life-long fan of the series, I have to say that I'll stick to my 174 playable characters (all of which are UNIQUE) on Warriors Orochi 4, TYVM. What a joke! It looks cute though.

@KoeiTecmoUS we cannot play online coop in samurai warriors 5 for playstation 4. My friends @GI_Jolt815 and @Weenis05 live in sperate countries (jolt in United States and wweenis in Scotland in the UK). Is this game region locked? When trying to join, we are sent to psn store.

It's a story of how Nobunaga started as a younger lad, yet they completely skipped past his actual ladder-climb in the Oda clan. Sure Mitsuhide was important, but he died shortly after Nobunaga did. Sounds like they rushed brainstorming and just said screw it.

When I see a review of any game, I like the unbiased opinion, except for the Musou games. You need the opinion of someone who loves these games to get a clear view other than "it's just another warriors game."

Apparently all characters fight exactly the same when using the same type of weapons, where two characters with preferred weapons don't have any variation.
If true, I'd be pretty disappointed.
The game looks a lot better than previous games, but the gameplay doesn't look like it evolved.
I still want this though.

I don't like so much how some games are "evolving" since FFX i believe, every charachter can do everything, i know peopla has own likings, but still isn't it taking away the feeling of having unique skills and weapons? and own personality too?

It is a great game but with no English it's hard to read the story, understand it and keep combos up.

Is the mission alerts voice acted in English? For example, in a tiny font at the bottom of the screen, it says, "The West Door is Open. Archers are Attacking!" Sometimes these alerts in warriors games are very important because if you ignore them the mission will end. Are they voice acted in English? If not, I think I might have a hard time playing the game due to my vision. I tend to miss these alerts because I am too busy attacking or exploring.

Would have been cool and funny if the 'avatar' art for the main characters was the 'Samurai Cats' art from Nobunaga's Ambition 😹

what characters? what are you talking about? 87% of the characters have been cut from the game, and characters that were important in real Nobunaga Oda life are not even there, other then character looks this game is trash
