What about cases where there are two columns with spots that would win, i.e:

Even has a win in row 4 in one column, and odd has a win in row 5 in another column.
Even has a win in row 4 and 2 in one column, and odd has a win in row 3 in another column.

Are there any general rules to calculate these cases efficiently or do you just have to work out each case by itself?
