Seriously if you are doing Aqaba find out when the sheep ship is arriving so you can avoid the unbelievable stench!!!!!

Straights of Gubal and Tiran can be brutal,it gets better once you are about half way up the gulfs if it is blowing 35+ kts .watch out for poorly marked well heads.
Ishmalia at the yacht club is worth a few days visit if you can get your agent to arrange it,then exit without stopping in Port Said,which is kinda nasty and exposed at the yacht club there.
