Why you SHOULD buy the Original Sony A7s in 2045.

just ordered the a7r classic in 2024 in almost mint condition. Old cameras are such a good deal

So true! I also got the A7S back in 2015 and I totally love it. I also use the A7lll and the A7iiiR and I find the low light AF better on the A7S, at least the way i use it, in single af mode. The colors also holds it own and reminds me a little bit about the Canon 1D2n. The size of the first A7 series are perfect and I wish Sony would come out with those again sometime in the future. This video is still relevant in 2023. 2045 is a long time to wait to buy the A7s but I think I'll buy one to honor the S line and this video.

This Video made me Buy this Camera. I normally work with a Lumix Gh5, but the original a7 totally blasted me first time using it. Even with the Kit Lense. the fotos I’ve shot the last weeks make me so happy. I carry the a7 everywhere i go.

The zeiss 55mm f1. 8 only weighs 281g (10oz). It does sacrifice some sharpness for the sake of being smaller. The weight it DOES have is due to being almost all metal in its construction, which makes it a tough little lens. My Helios 44-2 weighs only 50g less than the zeiss.

What MF/Vintage lenses are you using with your A7s I, as I’m considering buying one, for its sort of retro look and feel and of course compactness.
