My son is 21 in college and met a girl on campus. I Haven't met her yet. Told him not until he knows she's "the one".

From what I have heard from his friends and relatives who met her already: She's smart, works hard, from a good family and respectful, pretty as well.

Then been dating her since July 2024.

I want to share something with you guys. Before I came across those Wojak movies I thought it was only me who is this pathetic loser and failure, with an entire list of mistakes, regrets and all the things that I f ed up, and that there is something wrong with me somehow. When I watch those videos I just feel like they are about me, of course not always but most of the time. Some successful and attractive mf ers with attractive genes, money and functional/loving families might say they are depressing and maybe they are but for me they are just comforting in a way that I finally feel understood. Reading comments below this and other videos like that made me realise there is a whole army of guys like me and it calms my pain at least a little somehow. If you read this and feel like it's about you as well I'll pray for you and ask you to do the same for me.
