@pust1989 Yup, it mentions it within the book. Although if you haven't read it, which is quite alright, in the begining of LOTR FOTR, when Gandalf is in Gondor researching Isildur's account on the finding of the One Ring, the movie cuts to a clip where it shows Isildur holding the ring and then ring shrinks in his hand to fit Isildur's hand.
