Dale Pues Costa Rica 2016 Movie

This is a review of Dale Pues Ultimate's (Managua, Nicaragua) first tournament. It was played at Parque La Sabana in San Jose, Costa Rica. The tournament was sponsored by Breaking Borders and Ultimate Frisbee Juvenil. The event consisted of a leadership and skills clinic and then a 4 team youth tournament followed.

Our desire is that this becomes an annual event open to any youth team in Central America. Breaking Borders and Ultimate Frisbee Juvenil (UFJ) are partnering together to not only provide high quality playing opportunities, but develop youth Ultimate players holistically. Breaking Borders' mission is to use Ultimate as a tool to promote strong character development in youth. The purpose of Ultimate Frisbee Juvenil is to provide opportunities for Latin American youth teams to compete and compete at a high level. We believe this partnership can impact and grow Youth Ultimate across Latin America.

A big thanks to Vivenzia for helping with fields and discs for the tourney!

We are so thankful to all the volunteer instructors from NAMU (Club Team) in Costa Rica, all the parent volunteers, all the chaperones, FIVE Ultimate for Dale Pues' awesome jerseys, Disc Store for discs and prizes, and all the people who helped make this event a huge success.
