Ureteroscopy

well, i have a stent, luckily after 2 days it doesnt burn or hurt that much. supposed to have it removed in 10 days. doctor couldnt remove all the tumour, only 1/3 of it. dont know how long it takes to get pathology result. altho hes telling me its cancer. i dont want to hear that.

Hopefully i wont need a stent, i have a 2.7 soft tissue renal mass.

That stent causes urgency of urinating is very irritating .I can't wait to go to toilet when I m feeling pee. Now,I m with stent,doctor said to wait for three weeks after ureterscopy

20 dec it my turn😅 double j stent is in for about 3 weeks now, not nice!! I hope the j stent wil be removed with the outside stent and not again 2/3 weeks🙈

Stents are not mandatory for uncomplicated procedures..

I've got a big boy, 19mm so they say, don't really have a choice. I'll be begging for pain meds! I did have 2 rotator cuff surgeries, and they're no picnic either. Still scared shitless.

Gone through the surgery. Very painful process but in the end it becomes normal.

I'm getting it done in 3 days. Is the pain caused by the stent harsh?

They couldn't get to my stone last Friday (Ureteral Stricture) but still put a stent in, every pee causes pain and I pee 5/6 per hour. This process is not fun. I've had back surgery, new hip, screws in my feet, this is the most painful by far.

i’m getting this done in a few hours. i’m only 15 and have 4 stones in my kidneys. what should i expect..? 😅 (i’m terrified)

It's having the Stent in for a while that hurts and causes annoying urgency!

Is it painful?
