KB's version of the famous Bergdorf Goodman Salad!
I discovered this #Amazing salad at the little cafe in Bergdorf Goodman in #NewYork City, right on Central Park. I was in New York City a dozen times a year from 1969-to 1997 as the buyer for Kay Barchetti Shops; I never missed out on hitting Bergdorfs for this salad. I’ve made it for 25 years for my crazy #Realtor schedule.
Town & Country recently announced that this famous salad in the Bergdorf’s BG Bar had just been ordered for the 1,000,000th time! I use the best features of two of their salads, the Gotham and the Chop Salad, because:
1. The basic salad, if mixed, not dressed, and then sealed tight, lasts 7-10 days with its 2-3 meats and the fab cheese, so it is a complete, healthy meal at a moment's prep time.
2. The additions that you add when you serve it are varied, easy, healthy, and change the meal's flavor.
3. I choose from 5 different prepared dressings plus the 6th Variety
of vinegar and oil; all are fantastic with this.
